The lifecycle

From a price to a signature to the work.

For the salesperson who wants to send a clean, branded, e-signable quote in minutes — and never chase a printed-and-scanned signature again.

Build it, then Send it, then Convert it.

Each signed quote carries a signature certificate, so there's a defensible record of who signed what and when.
Where a quote goes

Sent isn't the end of the story.

A quote has states, and knowing which one it's in is the difference between following up and losing the deal.

Status progression: Draft → Sent → Signed → Converted.

Statuses are a reference list you can rename in Settings to match how your shop actually talks about a deal.
What it does

Everything on the document.

Segmented, priced proposals

Break a quote into clear sections with line-item pricing a customer can actually read, instead of one undifferentiated list.

Built-in online e-signature

Customers sign from any browser and each signed quote carries a signature certificate — there's no third-party e-sign tool to buy.

Your own letterhead

Quotes go out on your branding, built with a drag-and-drop document template builder rather than a support request.

Live merge fields

Customer and deal details drop in automatically, so you're not retyping the same terms on every document.

Terms that travel

Pull a saved agreement into the quote so your standard terms print on the document and are part of what gets signed.

Convert to opportunity

Turn a won quote into a live pipeline opportunity in one step, with nothing re-keyed.

What changes

From Word file to signed document.

Questions

Common questions about quotes.

How does online quoting and e-signature work?
You build a segmented, priced quote on your own letterhead, email it from your verified sending domain, and the customer opens and signs it in any browser. Each signed quote carries a signature certificate as evidence of the signing. E-signature is built in and included on every plan, so there's no separate e-sign subscription to buy.
Can I put my own branding on a quote?
Yes. Documents are built with a drag-and-drop template builder, so your letterhead, logo, and layout are yours to configure in-app. Merge fields pull the customer and deal details in automatically, which means you set the template up once rather than retyping the same terms on every quote.
Can I include my standard terms and conditions?
Yes. Agreements are rich-text documents you write once in the admin area and then pull onto a quote, so your standard terms print on the document itself and form part of what the customer signs — rather than living in a separate PDF someone has to remember to attach.
What happens when a customer accepts a quote?
A won quote converts into a live pipeline opportunity in one step, carrying its details across with nothing re-keyed. From there the work flows on through the rest of Calibrate — into a rental contract, a work order, or an invoice depending on what you sold.
Do quotes send from my own email address?
Quotes send white-label from your verified sending domain rather than a generic no-reply address, so what lands in the customer's inbox looks like it came from your business. You can plug in your own SendGrid, Mailgun, or SMTP provider, or let Calibrate manage sending for you.
Can I number quotes to match how we already do it?
Yes. Record numbering is configurable in-app — you set the prefix, the padding, and the number to start from — so your quote numbers can continue the sequence you already use instead of restarting at one.
